Frequently Asked Questions

The package includes 5 nights accommodation, 5 breakfasts and 5 dinners, shared group vehicle (Tempo Traveller or Mini Coach) for the entire trip, Sonprayag–Gaurikund jeep transfers (both ways), an experienced group leader, and all toll and driver charges. Temple darshan is complimentary; special puja / VIP darshan is at extra cost.

The Kedarnath trek (16 km one way) is the primary route. Pony or palki (palanquin) options are available at Gaurikund at additional cost — around ₹2,500–₹4,000 one way. Helicopter service to Kedarnath is available independently via IRCTC / private operators at approximately ₹4,500–₹6,000 one way but must be booked separately. Please inform us at the time of booking if you prefer helicopter service so we can adjust the group schedule.

The minimum group size is 8 persons. We can accommodate groups up to 20 persons in a single batch. For larger groups, we arrange multiple vehicles and can offer special corporate / family group pricing. Contact us for a customized group quote.

Accommodation is in well-rated dharamshalas, guest houses, or budget hotels appropriate for each destination. At Kedarnath (11,755 ft), accommodation is in basic but clean mountain lodges / GMVN guest houses. At Badrinath and Rishikesh, you stay in comfortable hotels with hot water and attached bathrooms. Upgrade options for deluxe rooms are available on request at additional charges.

The Char Dham / Do Dham yatra season runs from May to June and September to November. The temples open in late April / early May (on Akshaya Tritiya) and close on Diwali (October/November). May–June offers pleasant weather with floral valleys. September–November brings post-monsoon clarity with stunning mountain views. July–August monsoon is not recommended due to heavy landslide risk on mountain roads.

Yes, the Uttarakhand government mandates Chardham Yatra registration. Registration is free and can be done online at the official Devasthanam portal or at registration counters in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Our group leader will assist you with the registration process at the start of the trip. Please carry your Aadhaar card / valid photo ID for registration.

Cancellations made 15+ days before departure receive a full refund minus processing charges. 7–14 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: no refund. In case of temple closures due to natural calamities, government restrictions, or bad weather, we offer full rescheduling at no extra charge. Full T&Cs shared at time of booking.
