FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

"Do Dham" means two sacred shrines. This package covers Kedarnath — one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva — and Badrinath — the sacred abode of Lord Vishnu and one of the 108 Divya Desams. Both temples are part of the Char Dham Yatra circuit in Uttarakhand.

The Kedarnath trek (14 km from Gaurikund) is the traditional route but is not compulsory. You can opt for a helicopter (book separately via IRCTC or private operators), or choose a Pony / Palki (Doli) for the ascent. Please note helicopter tickets are not included in this package and must be arranged at your own cost. Our team can assist with guidance on helicopter booking.

Yes. The Uttarakhand government mandates Char Dham Yatra registration (biometric) for all pilgrims before visiting Kedarnath and Badrinath. Registration can be done online at the official Uttarakhand Tourism portal or at designated registration counters in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Our team will guide you through the registration process at the time of booking.

The Do Dham temples are open from April/May to October/November (exact dates announced each year on Akshaya Tritiya). The ideal months are May–June and September–October when the weather is clear and crowds are manageable. Monsoon (July–August) is best avoided due to landslide risk on mountain roads.

Yes! This is a private package, making it ideal for senior citizens, families, and those who prefer a comfortable, personalized experience. For elderly or differently-abled pilgrims, we strongly recommend the helicopter option for Kedarnath. Please consult your doctor before travel as both Kedarnath (3,583 m) and Badrinath (3,133 m) are at high altitudes.

Absolutely! We offer full customization — you can add Gangotri and Yamunotri to complete the Char Dham Yatra, extend your stay at any destination, add Chopta Valley (Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand), or upgrade your hotel category. Contact us with your preferences and we'll create a tailor-made package for you.

Cancellations made 15+ days before departure receive a full refund minus processing charges. 7–14 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: no refund. In case of natural calamities, temple closures, or government-imposed restrictions, we offer rescheduling at no extra charge. Full T&Cs are shared at the time of booking.
